Undiscovered Victoria is a collection of all the lesser-known places in Victoria that rarely get a mention in the big TV ads and tourism campaigns. It's all about those hidden little gems, tucked away in small country towns, at the end of a dirt track, 50 odd kms this way, just a bit further up that way.

It's the places that the locals are sometimes hesitant to tell us about, or have always just been overlooked as there's a much bigger, better-publicised thing down the road. Or it's simply been ignored due to our tendencies to idealise places from outside our own state.

The idea for the book was conceived in a period when freedom of movement was taken away from us and is dedicated to all the people of Victoria, who demonstrated incredible amounts of resilience and community spirit throughout that time.

We don't feel like this has been talked about enough, so we like to think of this book as a celebration of that Victorian spirit and the joy that comes from exploring and connecting with the people and places of this beautiful state.
